   Holt – Some of the state's top talent took the field at a rainy Holt High School July 19 for the 27th annual Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association All Star Game.  A White and a Red team faced off in each of the four divisions.

 

   In Division 1, the Red team won 4-1. Division 1 state champion Garden City's Hallie Minch struck out six in three innings for the Red. Stevensville Lakeshore's Leah DiChristofaro had an RBI double and scored.

 

  St. Clair Shores Lakeview's Brittany Ott and Portland's Kelsey Bourcier both had two hits to lift the White team to a 13-4 win in the Division 2 contest.

 

   Clinton's Colleen Zimmerman had three hits and two RBI to power the Red team to a 9-0 win in the Division 3 game.

 

   Southfield Christian's Kristi Hoffenbacher had four RBI to lead the White team to a 16-6 win.
