The Irish feature 11 seniors and look to be in the hunt for the Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 2 Championship.
Notre Dame Prep holds wins over some strong programs this season, including an 8-4 win over Orchard Lake St. Mary's on April 7.
Prep's only loss this season was a 6-3 setback to Catholic High School League rival Flint Powers Catholic on April 10. The Irish avenged that loss with an 11-4 win over Powers on April 22.There is a good chance the two teams will meet for a third time in the upcoming CHSL playoffs. Powers has won the past two CHSL B Division titles. The Irish will be looking for their first CHSL title since 2001.
To reach
the state semifinals, Prep will have to win a very tough regional that features 2006 Division 2 Champion
