Troy -- Troy Athens staged a furious comeback in the second half to beat Detroit Country Day 15-13
on April 2 at Athens in the season-opener for two of the state's premier girls lacrosse programs.
Lauren Bowen scored seven goals to lead Athens. Crystal Zhang had four goals. Angie Trush added two
goals and Vittoria Wallace and Angie Kemp had a goal each for the Red Hawks (1-0).
Country Day was led by Kat Cassel's four goals and
Leela Mohey's three.
